The Original founders of the Westpac International Business College (WIBC) are Dr. Jose T. Nededog, former President of the
University of Guam and Mr. Mark M. Zhao, Executive Director of Westpac Institute of Management (WIM), which had been in operation for
four years offering the certification and professional programs.
WIBC was founded on the premises of providing a diverse group of students means to meet their educational and career goals through non-traditional college programs.
WIBC is in a unique position to provide opportunities for working adults who are not seeking or unable to attend full time residential programs but are desirous of obtaining a
formal college degree or enrolled in professional programs that would enhance their lifelong learning and career goals.
WIBC is also in a unique position to offer programs for students from the Asian countries who wish to learn English as a Second Language (ESL) or to prepare for United States recognized
professional certifications such as the CPA, CFA, and Broker's Licenses for Real Estate, Insurance, and Securities.
